Systematization and Structuring of Reskilling and Upskilling Measures
摘要
This chapter explores how reskilling and upskilling measures can be systematically structured and implemented. It begins by introducing competency management and the importance of a competency model as a foundation for developing tailored training programs that align with a company’s needs, requirements, and goals. The discussion then shifts to competency mapping and the key factors in designing an effective competency model. Existing, universally applicable models are examined and compared to provide a basis for best practices. Building on this, the chapter outlines the transformation process, illustrating how reskilling and upskilling initiatives derived from the competency model can be effectively applied to enhance employee qualifications. Finally, the chapter highlights the prerequisites and conditions necessary for successful reskilling and upskilling, emphasizing the importance of continuously anticipating and integrating future skills training.
