The everyday life of young people is increasingly characterized by the use of digital media, which  has both direct and indirect impacts on preventive and interventive P/CVE measures in the context of Islamist radicalization. In particular, the strong online presence of Islamist actors on social media platforms and the propaganda spread through them is seen as a challenge. This article discusses related requirements based on an interview study with prevention work experts and in the form of a practice report. It becomes clear that P/CVE actors can particularly strengthen alternative narratives in the offline world and further interaction formats must be developed to meet the hybrid life worlds of the addressees.
