Introduction
摘要
What is real? What is given? What is evident? What is true? The questions belong to the key questions of phenomenology since its beginning. They are actually of special relevance under conditions of digitalisation, acceleration, optimisation, of crises, pandemics, and distress. This introduction briefly describes how the contributions of this volume take these questions up in different interdisciplinary and intercultural, phenomenological perspectives in pedagogy. They are explored as questions concerning the constitution of reality in our experience in life-world, in media and digitalisation. They also include a critique of instrumental scientism and optimisation, leading to a rehabilitation of embodied and responsive experiences and interactions. It thus becomes clear that pedagogy holds a special responsibility when it comes to conveying a certain relationship to the world and to others. The contributions thus ask about the theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practical constitution of reality within the experiences of learning, Bildung, and education, as well as the subjects, materialities, and the mediality of these experiences in different pedagogical fields and institutions. They are based on the sixth International Symposium on Phenomenological Research in Education, which took place at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in autumn 2022.
