Introduction
摘要
This research originated from the need to provide tools for teachers and other school staff to understand the educational and cultural universe from which Arabic-speaking pupils with a migratory background come in order to effectively interact with them in European schools. The aim is to analyse their educational context of origin in depth from a historical and cultural perspective. This research focuses on newly arrived Arabic-speaking pupils; however, the same analytical approach to background culture could be applied to pupils from any cultural background.
