Findings and Discussion
摘要
In the following sections, I will synthesize the main findings and discuss them with regards to current debates in the community energy and energy transitions literature. Chapter 6 compares the EU’s and Germany’s pathways of institutionalizing community energy (section 6.1) and how key actors had varying degrees of influence (section 6.2) over the process and outcomes of policymaking. Section 6.3 has revealed that CE influenced energy policy through political agency that is mainly defined by CE organizations’ capacity to mobilize knowledge from and about CE, the ability to frame CE as a benefit to the energy transition and strategies to advocate and build broad coalitions.
