The methodology that a study follows carries strong evidence about the validity of the study. As Box-Steffensmeier, Brady, and Collier propose, in the field of political science, the methodological considerations of a study not only grant ‘descriptive’ perspectives for conceptualising the phenomena but also ‘offer an array of methods for making causal inferences that provide insights into the causes and consequences of’ given concepts. For this aim, this chapter provides a detailed overview of the methodological approach of this study.

摘要

The methodology that a study follows carries strong evidence about the validity of the study. As Box-Steffensmeier, Brady, and Collier propose, in the field of political science, the methodological considerations of a study not only grant ‘descriptive’ perspectives for conceptualising the phenomena but also ‘offer an array of methods for making causal inferences that provide insights into the causes and consequences of’ given concepts. For this aim, this chapter provides a detailed overview of the methodological approach of this study.
