This chapter deals with didactic concepts for physical education. Starting from considerations on the scope and systematization of sports didactic concepts, four object-oriented concepts are presented with the types of sports concept, the concept of capacity to act in sports, the concept of basic physical and sporting  education, and the concept of depedagogization of school sports. Four subject-oriented concepts are contrasted with them: the body experience concept, the psychomotor concept, the concept of aesthetic education, and the socio-ecological concept. Finally, the concepts are brought together in the sense of an integrative approach. A digression on capactiy to act  in sports complements the chapter.
