This chapter deals with the central pedagogical prerequisites of movement, games, and sports offerings for children and adolescents. Starting from the concept of pedagogical action, the sport as a pedagogical field of action, sports pedagogical justifications, sports pedagogical action in the sense of an education to and through sport, as well as learning locations for children and adolescents in sport are presented. An excursion to educational PE complements the chapter.
