The interplay between the past and the present manifests itself in everyday life, elucidating the impact of interactions and negotiations between the Massai and the Adventist religion. Thus, a qualitative research methodology is deemed appropriate to explain the effects of these dynamics. This methodology enables the study to transcend the realm of information, analysing the domain of human meaning and interpretation, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
