Over the past 10 years, Turkey’s foreign policy has gone through some remarkable changes. Ankara has moved away from cooperative diplomacy by strengthening its own position with regard to Russia, China and the West. Turkey has begun to emphasize its regional identity in its neighborhood, and now views the Middle East, the Eastern Mediterranean and Eurasia (with the Caspian and Black Seas) as crucial elements of its foreign policy strategy.

Over the past 10 years, Turkey’s foreign policy has gone through some remarkable changes.
