Qualitative Results: Semi-Structured Interviews with Afghan Refugees in Germany and the Netherlands (Study I)
摘要
As discussed in Chap. 3, a qualitative approach is effective in providing more in-depth insights that cannot be obtained only through quantitative methods. Thus, in the first study, 35 qualitative interviews were conducted with Afghan refugees in Germany and the Netherlands to collect evidence about perceived institutional violence. The findings provided useful insights for subsequently developing a supplementary quantitative survey in which the assumptions with regard to institutional violence were further investigated.
