The Psychological and Psychosocial Counseling Process
摘要
The following chapter delves into the psychological and psychosocial counseling process. Challenges and perspectives as well as methods and training relevant to the PNES coaching concept are presented. Additionally, psychosocial diagnostics are defined and explained, with a particular focus on the biopsychosocial model, which is of immense importance for PNES coaching. Special attention is given to the counselor/therapist-client relationship. School-specific therapeutic orientations are also presented and explained, and discussed based on neuroscientific research findings. Furthermore, the psychological and psychosocial foundation for the eclectic-integrative counseling concept of PNES coaching is established. Readers are introduced to forms of intervention that can be implemented in PNES coaching, and it is explained how methodological pluralism or an eclectic-integrative coaching approach, combined with modern interdisciplinary insights, can contribute to quality assurance in psychosocial and psychotherapeutic practice.
