Numerical Simulations

For the implementation the Python version 3.9.18, the R version 4.3.1, the MATLAB version R2020b and a laptop with an Intel i7-10510U processor with eight cores and 16GB of RAM were used. The minimization of the Hamiltonian using a simplified version of the Armijo Line Search is a translation of the MATLAB code of [16]. In this chapter, this code is extended so that the modifications of the steepest descent method discussed in Chapter can be used instead of the Armijo line search.
