Bosnia and Herzegovina
摘要
Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the youngest states in the modern international system, whose existence as a sovereign political entity dates back only to 1992. Notwithstanding this, previous developments of the political system and policing over the territories of present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina are the by-product of more than five centuries of colonial rule, foreign occupation and later integration into the Yugoslav federation. The four centuries of Ottoman rule (1463–1878) entailed implementing its state-administrative system and mode of policing throughout the confines of the empire.
