Introduction
摘要
In recent years, the use of software-based tools for process automation has become established, particularly in medium to large companies. There, the support is primarily in administrative areas, predominantly in the back offices and related business areas. Banks have also increasingly adopted these—technically often very extensive—tools. Here, they are also predominantly found in the back offices (active and passive), but also in the IT or controlling area and in accounting. There, tables are filled, data is transferred from one application to another, or digital documents are checked. These processes regularly take place completely rule-based and following rigid patterns.
