Sociological Theory and Law
摘要
Theories of law have significantly shaped sociology since its inception. It was no coincidence that sociological classics like Emile Durkheim, Ferdinand Tönnies, or—Max Weber paid increased attention to law. They either drew on legal exams like Weber, a philosophical career like Tönnies, or encounters with political science like the young Durkheim during his study stay in Germany, and were familiar with the major legal theoretical debates of their time.
