Publication III

In 2024, the paper “Effects of teaching internships on preservice teachers’ teacher noticing in secondary mathematics education” was published in the journal Frontiers in Education as the third publication for this thesis. The research was conducted as part of the TEDS-V-T study, which focused on the transferability of the TEDS teacher noticing instrument developed for in-service teachers to measure the teacher noticing skills of pre-service teachers. In a first publication, Weyers, König, Rott, et al. (2023) had already investigated general transferability and linked university opportunities to learn with teacher noticing skills.
