Empirical Evidence: Digital Ecosystem in Kenya

In this chapter, the digital ecosystem in Kenya will be analyzed following the design introduced in Chap. 2. The goal is to gather empirical insights into the implications of the digital transformation for governance structures and government action as well as for sustainable development in Kenya. As discussed in Sect. 2.2.5, and as highlighted by expert interviewees such as I13, the development of digital ecosystems is not only of theoretical, but also of empirical or practical importance.
