Iran
摘要
This chapter investigates Internet use in Iran, where access is heavily filtered by the government despite high usage rates. It provides an in-depth qualitative study based on interviews conducted during a period of economic sanctions. The research finds that young, urban Iranians are adept at using tools to circumvent filters, with social media being utterly integrated into their daily lives.
