Review of Determinants for Eco-innovation Adoption

The following paragraphs provide a general overview of the literature on environmental innovations in the context of innovations to achieve CO2 neutrality in the European chemical industry. The review provides the state-of-the-art research on determinants for adoption of environmental innovations (OECD, 2009). But little specific knowledge is available about determinants for the adoption of renewable raw materials as a contribution to GHG savings and predictors for the chemical industry to achieve carbon neutrality.
