State of the Art—What is the Status Quo?

To approach the “State of the Art”, or the Status Quo regarding “Diversity in Construction”, the first step is to define the term diversity. The approach to the conceptual definition is not easy given the range of existing diversity and variety in construction. Because it is only in conversation, in mental reflections and playing through the range that the complexity becomes visible—especially for those outside of the construction profession.
