摘要
Robotic systems have made tremendous advances in recent decades. As previously described in 2.1.1, we have seen a rapid development since 1950. Robots have developed from simple machines that could manipulate simple things by grasping and placing them, as Zamolla et al. describe it [349], to machines that try to become social by detecting other movements in their vision and reacting to human shapes. The social robots of today have smart software systems that are partly able to understand what humans are doing and saying and that are partly able to react to it.
