Subjectivity and Technology
摘要
The question of the significance of technology in human life plays a central role in cultural psychology. Based on historical analyses of the development of the mind, this chapter shows the inner connection between psychological, technological, and societal processes and describes the role of human subjectivity and agency in the creation of the world of technology. Furthermore, basic theoretical and methodological concepts for the psychological study of technology are presented, which can contribute to a contextual thinking and an integrated understanding of humans and technology in everyday life.
