Art and Artistic Action
摘要
This chapter introduces art as a subject of cultural psychology. Following a brief presentation of the phenomenon, a cultural psychological perspective on artwork, artistic action, and aesthetic experience is initially placed in a disciplinary and historical scientific context. The subsequent example focuses on artistic action. In particular, its world-opening and orientation-providing function is examined more closely, i.e., the significance of artistic action for the individual’s self and its relationship to the world. At the same time, the role of art in shaping and expanding one’s own and shared field of action is discussed.
