Financial Market

In contrast to the goods market, where goods are traded, financial instruments are traded on the financial market. Financial markets belong to the financial economy, while goods markets belong to the real economy. Both markets are directly dependent on each other, as the real economy cannot exist without the money (= medium of exchange) originating from the financial market, and the financial markets, on the other hand, have their basis for existence in the real economy.
