Transcending Critique: Towards a Post-Anthropocentric Approach in Organizational Education Research
摘要
This article discusses the relationship between organization and critique from a discourse analytical understanding of organization in three ways. First, it presents a critical understanding of organization from a discourse educational perspective. Second, it examines critique-based forms of organization by regarding social movement organizations organized as discursive network-based collective agents, organizing toward just and livable futures. Thirdly, the article uses these existing critiques of current movements in the social, political, and economic context as a foundation for the question of sustainable organizational learning and organizational design. Thus, the present discourses of critique like post-colonial critique, critique of humanism, and critique of anthropocentrism question new ideas for re-imagining, re-theorizing, re-organizing, re-methodizing, and re-ethicizing organizational research. Against this background, enabling organizational change also appears movement-shaped. Critique thus not only becomes the shaping force of organizational change but of organizational education research alike.
