The Inferno is, in a sense, an abstraction of the book project. It serves to manage arbitrarily configurable data sets. Data sets can be found based on those attributes that were determined as an index during the construction of the Inferno program, i.e., intended for this purpose. The operation of the system is very simple. It can be used for many purposes, e.g., for an address directory or for managing a collection of sound carriers.
