This chapter discusses the models for the process of packet transmission at the First- or Last Mile with the interface between network operator and user. The two stages are: Session Acceptance Admission and Scheduling. The Session-Acceptance models Full Sharing, Full Split and Russian Doll are explained for 5G Slicing. The analytical Markov model provides initial insights into the differences. For more realistic scenarios, the Markov models fail and simulation models are used. This makes the simulation-based optimization of the allocation of transmission capacities in Slices possible. With the Q-Learning algorithm integrated into the simulation program, the predefined QoS differentiation between the application classes is achieved. The Scheduling models are also treated in a simulation-based manner. The MBR Minimum Bit Rate Scheduling limits the number of accepted admitted Sessions. Experiments with the parameters and the length of the monitoring intervals are suggested for independent further work with the provided Q-Learning program.
