摘要
In the twelfth chapter, the basics, application areas, and usage behavior of the Internet of Things are described and explained with the help of the IT infrastructure model. The IoT interaction structure is explained for the automotive industry. In addition, the concepts of the industrial metaverse and digital twins are presented and explored in more detail using the Industrial Metaverse Framework. The chapter concludes with a description of the success factors of the Internet of Things.
