As one of the world’s most powerful economies, Germany has no dearth of corrupt individuals, legal loopholes and companies pushing legal and ethical boundaries — all topics that ICIJ and its media partners commonly investigate. In this chapter we will examine Germany’s role in international investigations led by ICIJ.
