Conceptual Literacy in Spoken Language—the Standard Language in Romanes
摘要
The Romani of the Sinti is developing an increasingly multidialectal written form in our time. Even though this is a media-realized form of literacy, the way Romani is written is oral in its nature or conception, which clearly shows the lack of a standardized standard variety. The characteristics of conceptual literacy could represent the realization of such a standard variety for the Romani of the Sinti.
