Aspects of Design and Operation of an Electrostatic Precipitator

Electrostatic precipitators are used in a wide variety of applications: power plants, steel mills, cement plants, chemical plants. Everywhere, electrostatic precipitators have proven to be operationally robust and effective—often the only—solution for dust and aerosol separation. The large number of applications has also resulted in adapted designs, which are part of the special knowledge of the individual manufacturers.
