Chapter 4, “Multimedia Stories Defined,” starts by clarifying the terminology around the topic as it is understood in this thesis, before diving into the characteristics and specifics which render multimedia stories their transformative role. Throughout this chapter, three sub-questions to the overall research-guiding question are introduced.
