On the Road to Europeanization

In contrast to previous periods, the quality and intensity of nationalization mechanisms as patterns of state interventions and reactions to global events have changed. Nationalism has lost its appeal and the self-reinforcing re-nationalization loop has finally been broken. Since Chinese patronage, Albanian higher education policies have not resorted to nationalist discourse with the same intensity.
