Analytical and Methodological Approach

This chapter elucidates the narrative strategy, the conceptual framework, and the methodological approach for investigating transnational exchanges of people and ideas across various periods of Albania’s foreign policy. It proposes a framework to examine the influence of patronages on foreign policy and, subsequently, the patterns of transcultural exchanges. The chapter begins by introducing the analytical approach, followed by a section presenting the theoretical considerations and a foreign policy analysis model.
