Optimization and Prediction of the Trench in Layered Soil

This section deals with the optimization of various parameters in layered soil. The result of the parametric study in Chapter 6 showed that there is considerable interaction between different parameters and the pattern of how the factors influence each other was completely unpredictable. Therefore, the developed genetic algorithm model in Chapter 5 is used to optimize all parameters together in layered soil.
