摘要

In the research study, I have highlighted the effects that learning in the Inverted Classroom has on the basic psychological needs of autonomy, competence and social relatedness for engineering students. In particular, the question of how intrinsic learning motivation can be promoted in the scope of Inverted Classroom Model-oriented teaching using the example of the event organised according to this concept by Prof. Dr. Loviscach at the Bielefeld University of Applied Science. From the data gained from the guided interviews, it can be identified that the six Inverted Classroom style events exhibit design elements which promote intrinsically motivated learning processes. This motivation-promoting design can be optimised according to the basic psychological needs of the learners. Sections  6.2.1.7 and 6.2.2.10 summarise the (media) pedagogical recommendations for Prof. Dr. Loviscach, which contribute to this optimisation, based on the statements of eleven interviewed learners.
