Space and Places

Space is created around and through places. Around them unfolds the here and now of people. Human existence is a physical one: The body can be here or there, each time at a place, but not simultaneously. The sedentary nature of humans has, over the past 10,000–12,000 years, given rise to built, clearly perceptible places.
