摘要

Migration from, within and to Europe is hardly a new phenomenon. Migration from Europe could be perceived as constitutive of the modern-colonial world system, when settler-colonialists moved (by will or by force) to the colonies of European countries such as the Americas, Australia and Southern Africa. Migration within Europe, especially in the wake of World War II when millions of people were displaced, significantly shaped the continent.
