Summary and Perspectives
摘要
The Middle East conflict remains unresolved to this day. Palestine, where Jews and Arabs, or Israelis and Palestinians, have been fighting over land and rule for over a hundred years, has experienced military conflicts since ancient times, and a chequered history of rule has shaped this tract of land. In the Middle Ages, the two successor religions to Judaism, Christianity and Islam, spread westward from here. In the opposite direction, Palestine became the scene of military expeditions by European rulers.
