Theory of Radiative Attachment

This chapter provides a detailed insight into the theoretical treatments of the radiative attachment mechanisms which are spontaneous and (laser-)induced radiative attachment as well as two-center dileptonic attachment. For each of these processes, we derive the formation rate of positive ions of antihydrogen per unit of time and per antihydrogen atom. The following chapter is mainly based on results published initially in Ref. [120].
