Social Representations of TVET and Non-Academic Work in Mexico from the Perspective of Employers and Youth in the Mexican Tourism Industries

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes are seen as having great potential. Nevertheless, the enrolment rate in such programmes is low in Mexico. The central research question of this paper focuses on the “social representations” towards TVET and non-academic work from the perspective of employers and youths in the Mexican tourism industries.
