Bullying: A Group Phenomenon?

Bullying is a form of aggressive behaviour in which one or more perpetrators systematically, psychologically or physically attack a weaker person over a longer period of time (Olweus, The Development and Treatment of Childhood Aggression (pp. 410–448), Erlbaum, Hillsdale, 1991). In this chapter, the different actors of this group process and interaction pressures of the participants will be discussed.
