Exergy

In section 8, the exergy (i.e. the ability of useful work), is used as a thermodynamic quantity in tasks; in it, the statements of the first and second law are summarised. In the tasks, it is shown that the exergy of an energy is a suitable quantity for the treatment of real technical processes. Also, the portion of the respective types of energy that cannot be converted into exergy (called anergy) is referred to in tasks. Furthermore, T, s diagrams are added to illustrate energy processes. Finally, different exergetic efficiencies are used in tasks to illustrate the efficiency of energy conversion processes.
