Ideal Gases

This chapter deals with practical tasks in which changes of state and processes with ideal gases are treated. With the help of the thermal equation of state of the ideal gas in the forms p V = m R T and p V = n Rm T as well as with the caloric equations of state, the special changes of state, isochoric change of state, isobaric change of state, isothermal change of state and isentropic change of state are treated in tasks and the polytropic change of state as the generalised change of state is dealt with. Furthermore, mixtures of ideal gases are discussed. Flow processes with compressible ideal gases are also dealt with in tasks.
