Crude Oil and Natural Gas—Formation, Extraction, Distribution, and Processing

摘要

Before we continue with questions of normative and aesthetic construction, of the experience of Oilscapes, we will deal with the basics of what is in extraction, transport, and use the basis of a landscape synthesis: oil and natural gas. These performances form a basis about spatial distributions of the occurrence and use of the two fossil fuel raw materials as well as technical procedures in dealing with them—which as part of Space 1 can in turn be considered elements of Landscape 1 and when accumulated can form its special case of Oilscape 1. The following illustrations serve to explain some basic features that expedite understanding of the formation of Oilscape 1.
