Oilscapes—A Second and More Differentiated Conceptual Version
摘要
In Chap. 6 (Oilscapes—first conceptual approaches) we had understood ‘oilscapes’ as a thematically oriented synopsis of what has to do with the extraction, transportation, processing, and consumption of petroleum and petroleum byproducts. This synopsis takes place—to specify this here—from a landscape perspective, especially with recourse to aesthetic and ecological categorizations, interpretations, and valuations. Yet also, from a moral perspective, this became especially clear in the empirical investigations of the media content, of the interviews, and of the ero-epic conversations.
