Conclusions
摘要
This concluding chapter offers a comprehensive summary of the different theoretical and analytical steps taken in the preceding chapters. Furthermore, it raises potential questions and themes for further research to develop the Open Method of Coordination (OMC) and its effective usage even further by tailoring its measures to the individual national contexts. With the European Semester and its European Social Pillar of Rights, there might already be an instrument at hand that could issue youth policy recommendations to the member states based on their current political, economical and social situation (and potential youth policy shortcomings). By doing so, the EU could deliver a better contribution to the well-being of its peoples even in areas without explicit EU competences.
