Results: During the Studies
摘要
As just described, basic knowledge of the German language must be proven before a study in Germany. Generally, German language skills on the level of B2 are required. For this reason, KAAD offers its scholarship holders a German language course in before the start of the studies. Depending on the already existing German language skills, the language course can last between 1 and 6 months. The complete costs are covered by KAAD. Those scholarship holders who have already successfully completed a German course either in Germany – if they were already in Germany at the time of application – or in their country of origin, do not have to take the KAAD German course in Bonn. However, only very few of the interviewees had previously taken a German course in their country of origin.
