Angela Duckworth (Fig. 10.1) is the Rosa Lee and Egbert Chang Professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and the founder of Character Lab, a nonprofit that advances scientific insights to help kids thrive. Before her research career, Angela Duckworth was a math and science teacher at public schools, founding her passion for education.
